"As I mentioned in the phone I delayed writing until I could look at the typescripts in the Berg Collection. I've now estimated a total number of about 74,000 words. There wasn't any time at the Berg, however, to actually study the typescripts so I'm afraid that I'm going to have to ask you to send me some copies."
